  • The existing mosque in this district is in a severe state of disrepair. The structure is unsafe and fails to provide adequate protection from harsh weather conditions, making it an unsuitable and uncomfortable place for prayer, learning and community gatherings. It is in urgent need of a complete reconstruction.

The new mosque will be an integral part of a broader initiative aimed at providing the community with essential infrastructure, including proper housing, a school, a masjid, and access to reliable water and electricity.

  • Requirements include:

    • Capacity of 100 worshippers

    • Wudu Area

    • Sound System

    • Water Tank (Artesian Well)

    • Budget: £20,000

  • God-willing, its impact will be profound and far-reaching:

    • Worship: A dedicated prayer space for 100 worshippers, with a growing congregation.

    • Education: A dual-central location for Quran and Islamic studies for children and adults.

    • Support: Functioning as a centre for charitable efforts, food distribution, and social welfare for struggling families.

    • Ongoing Reward (Sadaqah Jariyah): Donors will be rewarded (hasanat) for every prayer, lesson and act of worship at the mosque.

  • This will be 4 of 99 mosques, God-willing.
