Masjid Al-Malik
Location: Uganda, East Africa
Capacity: 150 worshippers
Water Well: Yes
Status: Fully funded
-
Approximately 5,000 Muslims in Busimbi village lack a proper place of worship. The community currently relies on a mosque made from banana fiber, which is far less durable than one built with bricks and concrete.
During the rainy season, performing prayers becomes extremely difficult due to the mosque’s poor structure and inadequate facilities.
There is an urgent need to construct a mosque that can accommodate worshippers and includes essential amenities such as separate male and female toilets and a pulpit.
-
Requirements include:
Capacity of 150 worshippers
Wudu Area
Sound System
Community Water Well
Budget: £11,500
-
Once constructed, God-willing, the mosque’s impact will be profound and far-reaching:
Worship: A dedicated prayer space for 150 worshippers, with a growing congregation.
Education: A central location for Quran and Islamic studies for children and adults.
Support: Functioning as a centre for charitable efforts, food distribution, and social welfare for struggling families.
Ongoing Reward (Sadaqah Jariyah): Donors will be rewarded (hasanat) for every prayer, lesson and act of worship.

This is 3 of 99 mosques which is now fully funded. Construction will begin shortly.
